Testosterone & TRT / Compound guide

Testosterone Pellets guide

Testosterone pellets are solid crystalline testosterone implants studied for prolonged hormone delivery after subcutaneous placement.[2][5] PinPoint tracks the compound in milligrams using pellet count and the library's 75 mg amount per pellet.[1]

Read the record in context

The pellet presentation changes the relevant units entirely. Count and mass matter, while liquid concentration and syringe markings do not. The 75 mg-per-pellet description is a library fact; the long apparent half-life concerns an implant reference, not a conventional vial.[1]

What the research says

The cited study examined subcutaneous testosterone implants in men with hypogonadism. Fourteen participants underwent detailed pharmacokinetic sampling after implantation of six 200 mg pellets; additional participants contributed feasibility and adverse-event observations. The study's pellet strength differs from the library's 75 mg package record.[2][1]

Investigators followed testosterone, gonadotropins, dihydrotestosterone, estradiol, and binding proteins over months. They observed an initial release peak, a prolonged plateau, and a later decline. The reported apparent terminal half-life was approximately 71 days, reflecting the implanted formulation's release and disposition together.[2][1]

The study also evaluated local complications and patient acceptance. Its long observation period provides context for depot behavior, but its 200 mg research pellets cannot substantiate a different product's package size. A separately cited product label supplies the 75 mg identity used for the count-only example below.[2][5]

Cited amounts

The Testopel label identifies 75 mg of testosterone per pellet. This separately sourced implant presentation supports count-to-mass arithmetic, while the library retains no typical vial-total field. The pharmacokinetic paper used a different, 200 mg pellet and is not the source for this package fact.[5][1]

Half-life and timing

At 1,680 hours per model interval, each halving spans 70 days. Two intervals reach day 140 at 25%, and five reach day 350 at 3.125%. This large arithmetic span reflects the stored apparent terminal reference. It does not describe an implant's complete release process or predict a person's concentration for nearly a year. The word apparent and the implant context remain important, while the graphic deliberately omits absorption, repeated procedures, and variation between individuals.[1][4]

Reconstitution

The primary example comes from the Testopel label: each pellet contains 75 mg of testosterone, so two pellets represent 150 mg of inventory. This is a count-to-mass relationship for a solid implant. It does not select an implantation amount or turn a pellet into a liquid preparation. The label supports the 75 mg package fact independently of the study that investigated a different pellet strength.[5]

Tracking it in PinPoint

From a reference to a record

Built for peptide, TRT, and GLP-1 schedules. Set up your vial in seconds, log every dose, and see your modeled levels between doses. Enter vial size in mg, mcg, or IU and water volume for instant concentration and syringe units. Track vials and prefilled pens side by side.[3]

The Home curve models your levels between doses from published half-life data. Drag to scrub modeled values at any timestamp, or preview 30 days of a dose pattern. Ask PinPoint provides educational reference with sources; it never recommends a dose or a schedule change. These features record and visualize entered information, with the limits of each compound's source data still applying.

Frequently asked questions

Can testosterone pellets use a reconstitution calculator?
Pellet records use count multiplied by 75 mg in the library description. They are implants, not powder vials for water addition. The calculator link is a general arithmetic resource; this guide does not invent liquid volume or syringe units for an implant.[1][2][5]
Can syringe markings represent a testosterone pellet count?
The implant is recorded by count and mass, not by liquid volume. The library's 75 mg-per-pellet relationship can translate a documented count into milligrams. There is no sourced liquid denominator from which to calculate syringe markings.[1][4][5]
Does the 70-day pellet reference describe an injection?
The library associates it with a crystalline subcutaneous implant and calls it an apparent terminal half-life. Cypionate, enanthate, and undecanoate have separate injection records. The shared testosterone identity does not make their presentation-specific models interchangeable.[1][4]
Can a peptide tracker app record Testosterone Pellets?
PinPoint's compound library includes Testosterone Pellets. The app description covers logging compound, dose, site, and pain level, as well as viewing modeled levels between recorded doses. The curve uses published reference inputs and does not account for individual variation. The tracker records the schedule entered by its user; it does not choose a dose or recommend a schedule change.[1][3]
