TRT dose calculator (mg to mL)

This calculator divides an independently specified weekly amount by an injection count, then converts the amount per injection into liquid volume. Enter weekly mg, concentration in mg per mL, and a frequency. The output describes the arithmetic only and does not choose a dose or schedule.

The prefilled numbers are an arithmetic example.

From weekly amount to injection volume

A weekly amount is a total over time. It is different from the concentration printed in mg per mL, which describes the amount in a volume of liquid. Dividing weekly mg by the number of injections gives mg per injection. Dividing again by concentration gives mL per injection, so both inputs are necessary.

mg per injection = weekly mg ÷ injections per week
mL per injection = mg per injection ÷ concentration mg/mL
U-100 units per injection = mL per injection × 100

For example, 100 mg per week divided into two equal amounts is 50 mg each. At a concentration of 200 mg per mL, 50 mg occupies 0.25 mL. At 100 mg per mL the same 50 mg occupies 0.5 mL. The weekly amount stays constant in this comparison while the concentration changes the liquid volume.

Every other day is represented by an average of 3.5 injections per week. A repeating 14-day period contains seven injections, while a calendar week may contain three or four. This calculation divides the weekly average consistently over that longer cycle. It does not claim that each individual calendar week contains the same number of injections.

The U-100 output is a volume equivalence: one mL corresponds to 100 markings on that scale. It is not an equipment selection or a statement about a formulation's compatibility with a particular syringe. Values above one mL are labeled over one syringe. Fractional values retain arithmetic precision without promising equivalent measurement precision.

The table compares weekly amounts in 25 mg increments solely to make the division visible. It does not establish a personal range. A custom concentration can represent a value outside the three table columns. Entering zero, a negative number, or a nonfinite value clears the output and displays a correction message, preventing a previous calculation from being mistaken for the current entry.

Questions about the conversion

What is 100 mg per week split into two injections at 200 mg per mL?

100 divided by 2 is 50 mg per injection. 50 divided by 200 is 0.25 mL per injection, equivalent to 25 units on a U-100 volume scale.

What is 150 mg per week split twice at 250 mg per mL?

150 divided by 2 is 75 mg per injection. At 250 mg per mL, 75 divided by 250 is 0.3 mL, equivalent to 30 U-100 units.

How does every-other-day arithmetic work?

Every other day gives 7 injections in 14 days, or an average of 3.5 per week. For 140 mg per week, 140 divided by 3.5 is 40 mg per injection. At 200 mg per mL this is 0.2 mL, or 20 U-100 units.

What volume is 140 mg per week divided daily at 100 mg per mL?

140 divided by 7 is 20 mg per injection. 20 divided by 100 is 0.2 mL, equivalent to 20 U-100 units per injection.
