Read the record in context
The GHRP-2 half-life came from an intravenous study in prepubertal children, while the app records a subcutaneous route. That population-and-route distinction stays beside the 0.55-hour number. The historical 5 mg package is an unverified library snapshot, not a checked supplier input for preparation arithmetic.[1]
What the research says
The first cited study characterized GHRP-2 in ten prepubertal children with short stature after a single intravenous administration. Repeated blood samples measured both the peptide and growth hormone. Pharmacokinetic and response models were fitted separately, preserving the difference between drug disposition and endocrine stimulation.[2]
The peptide's terminal half-life was 0.55 hours on average, while growth hormone had its own timing parameters. The small pediatric population and intravenous route qualify this estimate. The study was designed to support further pharmacokinetic work, rather than establish a general subcutaneous curve in adults.[2]
A second study gave subcutaneous GHRP-2 to nine healthy young men over five days. Researchers measured growth hormone, IGF-I, binding protein, and osteocalcin. Growth hormone responses attenuated during repeated exposure, while mean IGF-I did not increase. This provides separate adult response context, not a replacement for the pediatric intravenous disposition data.[3]
Cited amounts
The original supplier package could not be independently verified from an accessible product document. Its historical amount remains in At a glance as a literal library snapshot. No externally verified package total or package-based preparation calculation is presented here.[1]
Open the calculator for amount conversionsHalf-life and timing
The stored 0.55 hours equal 33 minutes. At 66 minutes the mathematical amount is one quarter of its starting value; at 165 minutes it is one thirty-second. These positions are derived from the pediatric intravenous reference scalar. They do not measure adult subcutaneous absorption, whose bioavailability and peak time are not stated by that source. The chart contains no added dose events. Its short endpoint explains the model's arithmetic without prescribing an interval or resolving the route extrapolation.[1][7]
Continue to the calculatorReconstitution
No numerical reconstitution example is supplied because the original catalog input is unverified. Concentration arithmetic requires an independently established compound amount and final liquid volume; the half-life reference supplies neither. A historical library value cannot substitute for a checked package document. The calculator link remains available as a general unit-conversion tool, while this guide leaves the missing external input unresolved instead of presenting a plausible quantity as verified.[1]
Tracking it in PinPoint
From a reference to a record
Built for peptide, TRT, and GLP-1 schedules. Set up your vial in seconds, log every dose, and see your modeled levels between doses. Enter vial size in mg, mcg, or IU and water volume for instant concentration and syringe units. Track vials and prefilled pens side by side.[6]
The Home curve models your levels between doses from published half-life data. Drag to scrub modeled values at any timestamp, or preview 30 days of a dose pattern. Ask PinPoint provides educational reference with sources; it never recommends a dose or a schedule change. These features record and visualize entered information, with the limits of each compound's source data still applying.

- Does the GHRP-2 half-life come from subcutaneous research?
- The library identifies a single-dose intravenous study in prepubertal children as the half-life source. Its 0.55-hour value is carried into a subcutaneous tracking model with explicit extrapolation. The cited study does not supply subcutaneous bioavailability or absorption timing.[1][2]
- Does the GHRP-2 study supply subcutaneous absorption parameters?
- The library says the cited intravenous study does not state subcutaneous bioavailability or time to peak. Those fields are authored tracking estimates. A separate publication mentioning subcutaneous schedules cannot automatically provide the missing measured parameters.[1][7]
- Why retain the pediatric population when reporting GHRP-2's half-life?
- It identifies who supplied the reference observations. Removing it could make the number look like a measured adult subcutaneous value. The guide preserves both population and route so the 33-minute conversion does not conceal the extrapolation.[1][7]
- Can a peptide tracker app record GHRP-2?
- PinPoint's compound library includes GHRP-2. The app description covers logging compound, dose, site, and pain level, as well as viewing modeled levels between recorded doses. The curve uses published reference inputs and does not account for individual variation. The tracker records the schedule entered by its user; it does not choose a dose or recommend a schedule change.[1][6]
