BPC-157 and TB-500: two compounds, two separate records

BPC-157 and TB-500 are named together in stack searches, but no combined regimen was studied in the cited sources: BPC-157's source is a rat and dog study, and TB-500's are an identity analysis and a volunteer study of the full-length protein [1][2][3]. They are two unrelated molecules with different half-life inputs and package sizes. This page describes each on its own terms, converts each vial, and shows how two compounds stay distinct in a log.

What are BPC-157 and TB-500, and what does a stack search ask?

BPC-157 is a synthetic 15-amino-acid peptide; TB-500 is a product associated with a fragment of thymosin beta 4 [1][2]. Neither is an approved medicine. PinPoint's library lists BPC-157 as limited human research and TB-500 as primarily preclinical, with 5 mg and 10 mg package examples respectively [4].

Queries such as bpc 157 tb 500 dosing or bpc-157 tb-500 blend dosage per day ask for one combined number. This page does not supply one, because no source in the library studied the pair, and a combined figure would hide two separate evidence bases behind a single line. What can be answered is what each source measured and how each vial converts.

What do the BPC-157 and TB-500 sources report?

For BPC-157, the library cites a 2022 study of its pharmacokinetics, distribution, metabolism and excretion in rats and dogs after injection [1]. It is an animal study. The library converts its short plasma persistence into a quarter-hour tracking input and labels that input low confidence for people [4].

For TB-500, identity comes first. A 2012 analytical study found the acetylated 17 to 23 fragment of thymosin beta 4, the seven-residue sequence Ac-LKKTETQ, in a product sold as TB-500 [2]. The human study in the library's sources gave full-length synthetic thymosin beta 4 intravenously to healthy volunteers at 42 to 1,260 mg, once and then daily for 14 days, and reported no dose-limiting toxicity [3].

That human study did not test TB-500 or a subcutaneous route, and its milligram range belongs to a different, much larger molecule. The library keeps TB-500 as primarily preclinical with a three-hour estimate for that reason [4]. Its amounts describe the full protein, not the fragment sold as TB-500.

How are BPC-157 and TB-500 vials converted to syringe units?

The two vials are converted separately, each with its own total [5]. A 5 mg BPC-157 vial in 2 mL is 2.5 mg/mL, so 10 U-100 units, or 0.1 mL, holds 0.25 mg. A 10 mg TB-500 vial in 2 mL is 5 mg/mL, so the same 10 units holds 0.5 mg [4][5].

The same mark on two syringes means different milligrams because the vials hold different totals. That is the practical reason to keep the vials and the records apart. If both are mixed into one vial, every draw carries a fixed ratio set by the vial contents, and neither amount can change on its own. The BPC-157 dosing chart and the TB-500 dosing chart list each vial across 1, 2 and 3 mL, and the BPC-157 calculator and TB-500 calculator take any vial size.

BPC-157: 5 mg ÷ 2 mL = 2.5 mg/mL; 10 units = 0.25 mg
TB-500: 10 mg ÷ 2 mL = 5 mg/mL; 10 units = 0.5 mg

How do people log BPC-157 and TB-500 together in PinPoint?

Both compounds are in PinPoint's library, so each vial is set up with its own size and water volume, and each injection is a separate entry with compound, dose, site and pain level [4][6]. Two vials and two entries keep monthly totals, supply forecasts and site rotation correct for each compound.

Schedules follow what each person enters: daily, every other day, twice weekly or custom, with reminders at the chosen times [6]. The Home curve draws a separate modeled line for each from its own half-life input, a quarter hour for BPC-157 and three hours for TB-500, as mathematical visualizations that do not account for individual variation [4][6].

What do people ask about BPC-157 and TB-500?

Is TB-500 the same as thymosin beta 4?
Not exactly. A 2012 analysis identified a seven-residue acetylated fragment of thymosin beta 4 in a TB-500 product. The human safety study in the library's sources used the full-length protein intravenously.
How many units is 0.25 mg of BPC-157?
For a 5 mg vial in 2 mL, the solution holds 2.5 mg/mL, so 0.25 mg is 0.1 mL, or 10 U-100 units. A different volume changes the unit count.
Is there a bpc 157 tb 500 dosing study?
No study of the pair appears in the library's sources. BPC-157's source is a rat and dog pharmacokinetic study and TB-500's are an identity analysis and a full-protein volunteer study.
Should BPC-157 and TB-500 be logged as one compound?
PinPoint logs them as two compounds, each with its own vial, dose and curve. A single combined entry would hide which compound a total or a modeled level refers to.
