Dose tracking
Mounjaro dose tracker
Tirzepatide, sold as Mounjaro, has a weekly dosing schedule with changes tied to the prescribing label and clinical need. A Mounjaro dose tracker is useful for separating that changing plan from the injections already logged. PinPoint records injection amounts and sites, supports titration phases, and keeps reminders attached to the day and time you set. This page covers the adult injection schedule in the current US label. Mounjaro labelApp features

Read the current adult escalation language
Section 2.1 starts Mounjaro at 2.5 mg once weekly. It describes increases in 2.5 mg increments after at least four weeks at the current dose when additional glycemic control is needed. The adult maximum is 15 mg weekly. The same current section gives a different maximum for pediatric patients, so the adult reference below is deliberately not a pediatric schedule. Mounjaro label
The table uses conditional phases instead of promising a particular strength at week nine or week thirteen. A minimum interval is a lower bound in the label, not a complete personal calendar. This distinction matters when reading older summaries that make the entire sequence look automatic. The source link opens the current prescribing information, where the context around each step remains available.
| Weeks / phase | Dose or change | Condition |
|---|---|---|
| Starting phase | 2.5 mg weekly | Current label initial amount |
| After at least 4 weeks at current dose | Increase by 2.5 mg if additional glycemic control is needed | Prescriber-directed timing |
| Later stages, if prescribed | 5, 7.5, 10, 12.5, 15 mg weekly | Adult maximum: 15 mg weekly |
A record that can explain a changing plan
A history is easier to interpret when the recorded amount belongs to a specific date. PinPoint can backfill past doses and represent planned changes through titration phases. Its color-coded calendar and reminders provide different views of the same schedule. An entry can include the compound, injection site, and pain level, preserving details that a reminder alone does not contain. App features
Notes and side-effect severity entries can add context to that dated history. For example, a note describing a question for the next appointment is a record of the question, not proof that a medicine caused an event. PinPoint also supports export in PDF, CSV, and JSON formats, allowing the recorded sequence to be reviewed outside the calendar. App features
Pens and vials carry different volume information
Mounjaro labeling now describes single-dose pens, single-dose vials, multi-dose vials, and KwikPens. Single-dose presentations contain a labeled dose in 0.5 mL, while the multi-dose presentations provide four 0.6 mL doses. Those package details belong to the product label. A generic syringe-unit example cannot replace the instructions supplied with a particular presentation. Mounjaro label
Here is arithmetic for a hypothetical compounded tirzepatide vial only: 15 mg in 3 mL gives 5 mg/mL. A U-100 marking of 20 units represents 0.20 mL, which contains 1 mg at that concentration. The example is not a Mounjaro preparation method, device conversion, or prescribed dose. The calculator can check the multiplication from entered values, but it cannot identify an unknown vial or establish pharmaceutical equivalence. Arithmetic
Supply and modeled levels answer separate questions
PinPoint tracks prefilled pens alongside vials and estimates when stock runs out. That forecast concerns inventory. The modeled Home curve instead uses published half-life information to visualize levels between doses, with timestamp scrubbing and a preview of a dose pattern. Neither screen measures a blood concentration, and a modeled peak is not a reason to revise a prescription. Keeping inventory and modeling distinct helps each remain useful for its actual purpose. Questions
Is Mounjaro tracked as daily or weekly?
The injection label describes once-weekly administration. PinPoint supports a weekly schedule with a reminder at a selected day and time, while the dose log preserves the date actually recorded. Mounjaro labelApp features
Does the tracker choose the next strength?
No. PinPoint is a tracking and unit-conversion tool. The current Mounjaro label makes later increases conditional on additional glycemic need and at least four weeks at the current dose. App featuresMounjaro label
