Dose tracking
Ozempic dose tracker
Semaglutide is the active ingredient in Ozempic. This Ozempic dose tracker guide focuses on the weekly injection, because the current oral product has separate labeling and a different schedule. PinPoint helps keep injection dates, prescribed amounts, and supplies organized. The starting and escalation stages below come from the US injection label; they do not select a dose for an individual reader. Ozempic labelRybelsus labelApp features

From initiation to the prescribed ongoing dose
The injection schedule begins at 0.25 mg once weekly for four weeks, then moves to 0.5 mg weekly. When additional glycemic control is needed, the label permits 1 mg after at least four weeks at 0.5 mg, and 2 mg after at least four weeks at 1 mg. It also specifies 1 mg after at least four weeks at 0.5 mg for the labeled kidney-outcome indication. Ozempic label
The conditional wording is as important as the numbers. A table that shows 0.25, 0.5, 1, and 2 mg without the surrounding conditions can look like a fixed countdown. This reference retains those conditions so a logged period at the same dose is not mistaken for an incomplete calendar. Your own schedule belongs to the prescription and its subsequent clinical updates.
| Weeks / interval | Dose | Label context |
|---|---|---|
| 1–4 | 0.25 mg weekly | Initiation |
| 5 onward | 0.5 mg weekly | After four weeks at 0.25 mg |
| After ≥4 weeks at 0.5 mg | 1 mg weekly | If more glycemic control is needed; also the labeled kidney-outcome dose |
| After ≥4 weeks at 1 mg | 2 mg weekly | If more glycemic control is needed; maximum weekly dose |
Make the injection history legible
PinPoint can record compound, dose, site, and pain level for injections. Backfilling makes it possible to include earlier entries, while reminders are tied to the day and time set in the schedule. Titration phases can represent planned increases or decreases. Together, those features keep the amount associated with its date rather than leaving a row of identical checkmarks that hides a change in strength. App features
A daily note can preserve the wording of an observation or a question. Side-effect logging includes severity ratings, and the app supports PDF, CSV, and JSON export. These are documentation features. A relationship in time between an injection and a note is not an automatic explanation of the note, and the tracker does not diagnose the observation. App features
A pen record is not a syringe conversion
The current Ozempic injection label lists multiple-dose pens with different total amounts and also single-dose prefilled syringes. A product name alone therefore does not supply every detail needed for an inventory record. PinPoint supports prefilled-pen and vial tracking, along with a forecast of when stock runs out. The presentation listed on the actual package remains the relevant reference. Ozempic labelApp features
A hypothetical compounded semaglutide vial can illustrate the different arithmetic: 5 mg in a final volume of 2 mL gives 2.5 mg/mL. Twenty units on a U-100 scale equals 0.20 mL and therefore 0.5 mg in that example. This is not an Ozempic pen setting, a click-count method, a mixing instruction, or evidence of equivalent products. The semaglutide calculator uses the entered concentration; the example supplies no clinical target. Arithmetic
Read the curve as a model
The PinPoint Home curve uses published half-life data to model levels between doses. It supports viewing values at a chosen timestamp and previewing a dose pattern. The app description explicitly identifies these curves as population-average mathematical visualizations that do not account for individual variation. They add a visual reference to a log, rather than turning the phone into a device that measures medication concentration. App features

Questions
Does this page cover Ozempic tablets?
The table covers Ozempic injection only. Oral semaglutide is described in a separate tablet label, and its strengths are not a milligram-for-milligram replacement for an injection schedule. Ozempic labelRybelsus label
Can I reconstruct an earlier injection history?
PinPoint supports backfilling past doses. The entry should reflect the information being recorded, while an uncertain date can remain a question in the notes rather than a claim of precise recall. App features
