Sermorelin guide

Sermorelin is a synthetic growth hormone-releasing hormone 1-29 analog studied for stimulation of growth hormone secretion.[2] PinPoint stores a short published plasma half-life and classifies the current reference entry as limited human research.[1]

Read the record in context

Sermorelin's short time scale is best read in minutes alongside the source's rounded wording. The stored 0.18 hours equals 10.8 minutes, close to the reported 11-to-12-minute context. A 5 mg supplier package remains separate from that research and from historical branding.[1]

What the research says

The cited study administered GHRH(1-29)-NH2 intravenously or intranasally to 30 healthy men aged 19 to 43 years. Researchers compared peptide disposition with growth hormone release. The purpose was to understand how administration route affected absorption and the resulting endocrine response.[2]

The peptide disappeared rapidly after intravenous administration, while elevated growth hormone persisted for roughly three hours. Nasal absorption was much lower, with reported bioavailability of 3% to 5%. The study therefore measured both the administered peptide and a downstream hormone response with a different time course.[2][1]

Repeated nasal administration was also examined for changes in growth hormone secretion. These findings are specific to the routes and participants studied. PinPoint exposes a subcutaneous recording route, so the source's intravenous and nasal observations remain research context rather than direct measurements of every route in the app.[2][1]

Cited amounts

The library records 5 mg as a supplier catalog package amount. This is the total listed in that presentation, not an amount selected for administration. No personal dosing range is inferred from it.[1][3]

Half-life and timing

Five repetitions of 10.8 minutes span 54 minutes. The intermediate model retains 25% at 21.6 minutes and 12.5% at 32.4 minutes. Decimal minutes here arise from converting the app's hour value, not from obtaining more precise laboratory evidence. The source itself uses approximate wording. The illustration contains no absorption phase and does not measure the duration of downstream activity. Its sub-hour endpoint cannot choose how often sermorelin is recorded or establish that a person has completely cleared it.[1][5]

Reconstitution

For the documented 5 mg package, an assumed final volume of 2 mL creates 2.5 mg/mL. Expressed in micrograms, that is 2,500 micrograms/mL; a hypothetical 0.1 mL corresponds to 250 micrograms. Converting the numerator leaves the liquid volume unchanged. These equivalent expressions help explain why a calculator needs explicit units, but none is a sermorelin amount taken from the cited publication. The water-volume assumption is a mathematical input rather than a product-preparation instruction.[3]

Tracking it in PinPoint

From a reference to a record

Built for peptide, TRT, and GLP-1 schedules. Set up your vial in seconds, log every dose, and see your modeled levels between doses. Enter vial size in mg, mcg, or IU and water volume for instant concentration and syringe units. Track vials and prefilled pens side by side.[4]

The Home curve models your levels between doses from published half-life data. Drag to scrub modeled values at any timestamp, or preview 30 days of a dose pattern. Ask PinPoint provides educational reference with sources; it never recommends a dose or a schedule change. These features record and visualize entered information, with the limits of each compound's source data still applying.

Frequently asked questions

How long is the sermorelin half-life in minutes?
The app stores 0.18 hours, equivalent to 10.8 minutes. Its library note describes a published range of approximately 11 to 12 minutes. The guide reports the stored value for reproducible arithmetic and retains the rounded source context alongside it.[1][2]
Why does a sermorelin calculator distinguish mg from mcg?
A factor of 1,000 separates the numerical representations. The package's 5 mg equals 5,000 micrograms, while its hypothetical concentration is expressed per milliliter. Omitting the unit would leave the calculator unable to distinguish different amounts that share the same digits.[1][5]
Does the 54-minute endpoint describe the duration of sermorelin's effects?
It is five times the stored 10.8-minute model interval. The equation describes an abstract declining quantity, not a measured downstream response. It therefore cannot determine the duration of effects or provide a personal administration interval.[1][5]
Can a peptide tracker app record Sermorelin?
PinPoint's compound library includes Sermorelin. The app description covers logging compound, dose, site, and pain level, as well as viewing modeled levels between recorded doses. The curve uses published reference inputs and does not account for individual variation. The tracker records the schedule entered by its user; it does not choose a dose or recommend a schedule change.[1][4]
